Now you can have a first edition HTDS "Coffee, No Tea" mug complete with the HTDS official logo on the front and the story of the Boston Tea Party on the back! All of your friends will be so jealous of your white and red, dishwasher safe, one-of-a-kind coffee mug. Well, not completely one of a kind. I mean, we will sell one to anyone who shells out the cash. Anyway, the story on the mug reads:

On the night of December 16, 1773, school teacher William Russell went incognito with his fellow Patriots to let the Crown know what they thought of taxation without representation by dumping 340 large chests (plus some small ones) of East India Company tea into Boston Harbor. In doing so, they destroyed more than 46 TONS of tea valued by the E.I.C. at £9,659—that’s about a cool $1,000,000 today.

When William got home that night, he took his family’s tea canister and dumped its entire contents in the fire. The following morning, he made a new label for it: “coffee.” Oh, and lest there be any doubt, he put another label on the other side: “No Tea.”

You’re damn right, William. From now on, Patriots don’t drink tea. They drink coffee. And in honor of William and his canister, History That Doesn’t Suck is honored to provide you with this “Coffee, No Tea” mug.

Now, like William, HTDS values liberty, so please feel free drink whatever you actually want from this mug—as long as that drink is coffee.

Makes a great gift for that impossible to shop for person in your life! Even if that person is you! Get them one today!
